Farida operates under a licensed Real Estate Investment Fund administered by Sakr, with authorisation from the Financial Regulatory Authority — license number 989 issued on 6 November 2025 — placing the platform within a fully regulated framework. The design allows transparent digital transactions and ensures compliance with financial oversight, giving investors confidence in the integrity of their holdings.
Coldwell Banker Egypt has been entrusted with curating the property portfolio for Farida, selecting projects based on market demand, developer reputation and competitive pricing. The firm plans to prioritise high-growth locations and top-tier developers to offer assets with strong potential returns. Company executives describe the initiative as a turning point that brings global real-estate investment models into Egypt’s property market.
The move reflects a global trend toward “fractional ownership”, a model increasingly adopted in mature markets to reduce entry barriers and boost liquidity. Analysts note that by offering share-based real estate exposure, Farida could attract a wave of retail and mid-sized investors who might previously have been excluded due to high capital requirements.
Sakr Investment Management has positioned Farida as a bridge between financial technology and traditional real estate investment, combining fund-management expertise with digital platforms. The firm emphasises that regulatory backing and digital subscription infrastructure underpin the project’s viability, aiming to build investor trust and foster uptake among institutions as well as individuals.
