Organised jointly by dmg events and Koelnmesse—renowned for the ORGATEC fair in Cologne—the event will bring together over 100 exhibitors from 14 countries, showcasing advanced office furnishings, smart workplace technology, and sustainable design concepts. The exhibition arrives amid soaring demand for intelligent workplace infrastructure, underpinned by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and megaprojects like NEOM, New Murabba and Expo 2030, and supported by a workplace transformation market projected to reach US $1.22 billion by 2030 with an annual growth of 21.6 percent.
A signature element of the fair is the ORGATEC WORKSPACE Summit, open to all attendees without charge, featuring more than 50 international and regional speakers over three days. Sessions will cover agile workspace concepts, AI integration, corporate real estate strategy, sustainability, and culturally attuned designs. JLL’s Head of Specialist Services, Rachael Jones, will emphasise how inclusive design—from prayer spaces to multigenerational areas—can foster belonging and support talent retention within the Kingdom.
The event is expected to attract upwards of 10,000 professionals: from architects and interior designers to facility managers, government officials, and corporate planners, spanning sectors such as healthcare, education, hospitality, transport and commercial real estate. Exhibitors will be grouped into dedicated categories including office furnishings, IT/telecom solutions, construction systems, and organisational planning tools.
With Saudi Arabia’s construction sector featuring over US $1.7 trillion in active projects, the timing of the exhibition is widely seen as strategic. Gerald Böse, CEO of Koelnmesse, described the debut as a strong signal of global ambition, leveraging the established success of ORGATEC in Cologne to tap into the dynamic Saudi market. Matt Denton, President of dmg events, highlighted the fair as an outcome of combining the ORGATEC and WORKSPACE brands with local knowledge to meet surging domestic demand.
Media and industry commentators observe that Riyadh’s hosting of this platform aligns with evolving workplace expectations across the region, where flexibility, technological integration, and employee well‑being increasingly shape office environments.
As part of the global ORGATEC network, the Saudi edition joins counterparts like ORGATEC Tokyo and ORGATEC India, reinforcing international collaboration in designing future‑ready work environments.
Among the event’s thematic highlights are “Designing with Identity”, which explores how Saudi culture can inform contemporary workplace aesthetics, and “Work Reimagined”, looking ahead to the 2035 vision for professional spaces. These sessions underscore a commitment to regional authenticity balanced with global excellence.
Organisers aim for attendees to depart inspired and equipped to rethink and redesign their workspaces—encouraging a shift towards environments that foster productivity and well‑being while aligning with the Kingdom’s transformation journey.
