The Hub offers a robotics programme for students aged 12–18, enabling participants to design, programme and compete with their robots. This initiative will take place under the guidance of INJAZ Bahrain’s volunteers, requiring between 12 and 20 hours of engagement. Beyond the robotics programme, the Hub will be available to support other INJAZ Bahrain participants, allowing them to practise and further develop their STEM and digital skills.
Boeing’s managing director for the Middle East and North Africa, Wael Zaoud, said the partnership, which dates back to 2017, will be expanded with new programmes planned for 2026. These include courses in “Sustainability in Aviation” and wider robotics training — designed to inspire youth to explore careers in aviation and other STEM-related fields.
The establishment of the Hub underscores INJAZ Bahrain’s evolving role within the kingdom’s youth education ecosystem. With support from individuals such as Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, the organisation signals its commitment to fostering innovation, creativity and employability among young Bahrainis.
