The new episode will now debut on Wednesday, 24 September, instead of the original date. Following that, the show is adopting a bi-weekly release pattern for the remainder of the season, with fresh episodes arriving every other Wednesday through to early December.
Parker and Stone acknowledged that the delay was due to production delays, saying, “This one’s on us. We didn’t get it done in time.”

In response to recent events involving the show itself, Comedy Central has pulled reruns of Season 27, Episode 2 — titled Got a Nut — from its linear broadcast rotations. That episode, which parodied conservative activist Charlie Kirk, continues to be available on streaming platforms.
Fans had anticipated Episode 5 to air on Comedy Central at 10 pm Eastern Time, with streaming access via Paramount+ following the next day. The postponement disrupts that plan.
