The Union Frame, introduced by Golden Arabia Jewellery, is more than a display of opulence; it embodies the nation's journey and aspirations. The frame features intricate carvings of iconic landmarks from each of the seven emirates, including the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah’s Quran Roundabout, and Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. Other landmarks represented are Ras Al Khaimah’s Dhayah Fort, Fujairah Fort, the Ajman Museum, and Umm Al Quwain’s Museum and Fort.
Central to the frame is a high-resolution portrait of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE, symbolising his enduring legacy and the nation's unity. The project was a collaborative effort between Golden Arabia Jewellery and Yogesh Jewellery Factory, a family-run business based in Sharjah since 1973. According to Nirmal Yogesh Kumar, a third-generation jeweller from Yogesh Jewellery Factory, the frame was completed in three months, involving 30 skilled artisans working over 19,500 man-hours.
The frame's design combines matte and polished finishes to highlight the depth and texture of each monument. While the frame is not for sale, it serves as a heartfelt piece representing national pride and unity.
