Sheikh Abdulaziz emphasized that hosting the championship aligns with Ajman's vision to become a premier sports tourism destination. He noted that the event would not only showcase athletic excellence but also offer visitors a chance to experience the emirate's rich culture through side activities such as folk arts, traditional cuisine, and artistic performances.
The ADTD plans to enhance tourism services in preparation for the championship, including upgrading accommodation facilities and expanding shopping and entertainment options. These initiatives aim to provide a comprehensive experience for guests and reinforce Ajman's status as a multifaceted tourist destination.
Dr. Rafael Santonja, President of the International Federation of Bodybuilding , expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Ajman, highlighting the opportunity for sports interaction and cultural exchange. Similarly, Dr. Eng. Adel Fahim, President of the Arab and African Bodybuilding Federation, praised Ajman's dedication to promoting bodybuilding in the region.
Director General Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi stated that hosting the championship would boost the local economy and increase hotel occupancy, further enhancing Ajman's appeal as a tourist and sports destination.
