Gallagher Unveils OneLink and Upgrades at Intersec Saudi Arabia

Gallagher Security is set to introduce its OneLink cloud-based platform alongside major updates to its security suite during Intersec Saudi Arabia 2025, running from 29 September to 1 October in Riyadh. The announcements emphasise advancements in remote security, credential management, and system integration.

OneLink connects Gallagher Controller 7000 devices directly to a central Command Centre server via the cloud without needing VPNs or extended networks. This allows remote sites and distributed infrastructure to operate securely with lower setup complexity and cost. The latest release of Command Centre, version 9.30, includes OneLink as a central feature. There are enhancements such as a Warranty Report Generator to flag outdated devices, an Automated Credential Management system to remove expired credentials automatically, and expanded support for integrations like IDEMIA VisionPass SP and Vortex ground sensors.

Gallagher is also rolling out QuickSwitch, a solution aimed at simplifying the migration from legacy hardware to its latest Command Centre software. QuickSwitch offers fast installation, reduced labour costs, and fewer disruptions. It supports multiple “variant boards” to ease transitions from older systems, reducing both cost and risk for organisations modernising their security infrastructure.

Other innovations on display include perimeter security updates, access control hardware and software enhancements, and domestic credential management via Apple Wallet. Gallagher will also showcase its Controller 7000 platform, built for high performance, reliability and resilience. The firm states that its hardware and software are designed for scalability, enabling deployment in simple setups up to high-security, mission-critical environments.

In the Middle East, Gallagher has built a strong presence over roughly two decades. It reports securing over 33,000 doors and providing perimeter protection exceeding 100km for more than 750 clients across the region. Industries served include government, healthcare, utilities, education, and transport. The firm’s local office in Dubai acts alongside its global headquarters, delivering integrated access control, intruder alarm, perimeter fencing, and other solutions.

Demand for physical security solutions in Saudi Arabia is being driven by regulatory requirements, critical infrastructure protection, and Vision 2030’s emphasis on safety, cybersecurity and smart city development. Gallagher’s announcements, particularly around cloud connectivity and seamless migrations, reflect the growing market expectation for systems that are both adaptive and easily managed across geographically dispersed and sensitive sites.
