Abu Dhabi's tech scene, Hub71, has unveiled its newest cohort, welcoming 25 innovative startups from a remarkable 11 countries. This diverse group of young companies represents a significant boost to the emirate's flourishing tech ecosystem.

Hub71's "Access" program and its specialized arms, Hub71+ Digital Assets and Hub71+ ClimateTech, will provide these startups with the resources and guidance they need to thrive. With this latest influx, Hub71 now fosters a community of 223 startups, solidifying its position as a premier launchpad for tech ventures in the region.

The incoming cohort boasts impressive credentials. Collectively, they have secured over $122 million in funding, with an average of $5 million raised per startup. This highlights the group's significant potential for growth and the attractiveness of Abu Dhabi's tech hub for investors.

Hub71's appeal extends far beyond its borders. A testament to its global reach, over 1200 applications poured in for Cohort 14, with a remarkable 65% originating from international markets. This robust international interest underscores Abu Dhabi's transformation into a global hub for cutting-edge technology.

The incoming cohort reflects this international character. Startups hail from across the Middle East, with a strong showing from the UAE, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. However, the group also boasts ventures from established tech hubs like the USA, UK, and Canada. Additionally, companies from Singapore, Sweden, New Zealand, Spain, and South Korea add to the rich tapestry of talent.

This global influx is not merely symbolic. The 25 startups operate across nine key sectors, including FinTech, ClimateTech, HealthTech, EdTech, and Mobility & Logistics.
