This extensive program aimed to enrich the holy month for residents, providing them with opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of Islam and its practices.
The lectures covered a wide range of topics, catering to the diverse interests of the community. Islamic scholars and preachers delivered talks on the significance of Ramadan, the importance of fasting and prayer, and various aspects of Islamic jurisprudence.
Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department extended its outreach beyond mosques, conducting 32 lectures within government departments and institutions. This initiative aimed to provide employees with a chance to learn and reflect during their workday. Additionally, 14 virtual lectures were held on various social media platforms, ensuring accessibility for those unable to attend in-person sessions.
The department also recognized the presence of a multinational population in Sharjah. To cater to their needs, specific mosques were designated to host lectures delivered in English, Urdu, and Malaybari, ensuring inclusivity for residents from various cultural backgrounds.
