The key partners for this project are a consortium of Japanese firms with extensive experience in cutting-edge waste-to-energy technology. Marubeni Corporation, a renowned international trading and investment company, brings its expertise in energy sector innovation to the project. Hitachi Zosen Inova AG (HZI), a global leader in environmental technology, contributes its proficiency in advanced waste-to-energy plant design and construction. Additionally, the Japan Overseas Infrastructure Investment Corporation for Transport & Urban Development (JOIN) lends its financial backing and experience in facilitating large-scale infrastructure projects.
This collaboration between EWEC, Tadweer Group, and the Japanese consortium represents a significant commitment to the UAE's Circular Economy Policy.
