The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a novel initiative to offer vital medical assistance to the Palestinian people. A specially equipped floating hospital, now anchored in the Egyptian port of Al Arish, began receiving patients on February 25th, marking the start of this crucial humanitarian effort.
This deployment aligns with the UAE's "Gallant Knight 3" humanitarian operation, which aims to provide comprehensive support to the people of the Gaza Strip. The floating hospital serves as an extension of the existing integrated field hospital established in Gaza in December 2023, which boasts 200 beds and a dedicated team of international medical professionals.
