Emaar Development's Q1 2025 Sales Surge by 28%

Emaar Development PJSC, a leading property development firm in the UAE and a majority-owned subsidiary of Emaar Properties PJSC, reported a 28% year-on-year increase in property sales for the first quarter of 2025. The company achieved sales of AED 16.5 billion , up from AED 12.9 billion in the same period of 2024.

This growth is attributed to the successful launch of several new projects across Dubai, including expansions in the Dubai Hills Estate and the introduction of luxury villas in The Valley development. The company's strategic focus on high-demand areas and premium offerings has resonated with both local and international investors.

Emaar Development's sales backlog has also seen a significant increase, reaching AED 83.7 billion by the end of March 2025, compared to AED 65.7 billion at the end of Q1 2024. This backlog represents the value of properties sold but not yet recognized as revenue, indicating a strong pipeline for future earnings.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose to AED 5.5 billion , marking a 25% increase from AED 4.4 billion in Q1 2024. Net profit before tax stood at AED 2.8 billion , up 20% from AED 2.3 billion in the previous year.

Emaar Development's robust performance in Q1 2025 underscores its strong market position and the continued demand for quality real estate in Dubai. The company's strategic land acquisitions, including a 60 million square feet plot near The Oasis masterplan, are expected to further bolster its development pipeline and future sales.

Founder Mohamed Alabbar expressed confidence in the company's trajectory, stating that the results reflect Emaar's commitment to excellence and its ability to adapt to market dynamics. He emphasized the importance of customer trust and the company's focus on delivering high-quality developments that meet evolving lifestyle needs.
