
The development introduces state-of-the-art infrastructure, including modern offices, customizable units, temperature-controlled warehouses, advanced loading docks, and enhanced power capacity to support a diverse range of industries. Abdulla Al Hashmi, Chief Operating Officer of Parks & Zones at DP World GCC, emphasized that the expansion reflects Jafza's commitment to assisting businesses in competing globally and attracting foreign investment into Dubai. He noted that the first phase was fully leased before completion, highlighting the robust demand for quality logistics and warehousing solutions. With the addition of Phase 2, the total area of Jafza Logistics Park now exceeds 922,000 square feet.
The Middle East and Africa's freight and logistics market is projected to reach $235.8 billion by 2031. In Dubai, sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, construction, and e-commerce are driving unprecedented growth, escalating the demand for advanced warehousing solutions. Jafza's expanded park aims to address this demand by offering market access through its connectivity with Jebel Ali Port and providing advanced storage and handling solutions, including contract logistics, freight forwarding, and freight management for various industries, from technology and automotive parts to fashion and packaged food.
Jafza currently hosts over 10,890 companies from 150 countries, supporting more than 160,000 jobs and contributing AED620 billion in trade annually. The first phase of the Logistics Park, completed in November 2023, spans 562,507 square feet and features Grade-A dry and pharmaceutical storage units, temperature-controlled warehouses, and office spaces.
